Solution 1:

The simplest way to deter snatch and grab theft of Keyboards, mouse, joysticks, etc, is to thread the cables through the padlock shackle. When the lock is closed it is impossible to remove the devices without cutting the cable and rendering the dives virtually useless.

Solution 2:

If treading the accessory cables through the padlock is inconvenient, as simple washer solution can be used.

• Group the cables together, usually mouse and keyboard.

• Obtain a steel washer large enough to tread through the cables

• Fold the cables over forming a loop

• Pass the cable loop through the washer 

• Pass the security cable through this loop and terminate the other securing devices as usual.

NOTE; A notebook cable locking system  (AM8) can also use the same method.
