Taking special note of:

• The g-collar cable security system is designed to create the highest level of physical theft deterrent, without the need for an inclosure.
• The main considerations for the optimum installation are:
• A suitable anchor point, usually the desk, either through the cable trap or through an 11.5mm hole that needs to be drilled in the desk  to accept the anchor cable.
• The g-collar is slid over the G5 handle (top usually) and uses the aluminium handle as its strongest anchor point. (Fig:1)
• An special Stainless steel cover door locking cable is also provided illuminating the need for an additional padlock. (fig:2)
• The anchor cable is firstly threaded through the g-collar and then through the door lock cable.    
• LOCKING Mechanism
• Cable Trap Method:
• If the G5 is on the desk and the desk has a cable trap. Simply thread the cable from the G5 down under through the trap then through the 80mm round desk reinforcer, finally attaching the BlockLock to the end.
• Drilled Hole Method:
• If no cable trap exists, a 11.5mm or larger hole will need to be  drilled into the desk. Carefully choosing the best position, (usually as far back from the front of the desk) noting how the cable ends up underneath. Special consideration should be taken for  under desk obstructions as well as possible user leg positions. The BlockLock is attached to the end of the cable without the need of the desk reinforcement plate.

• Apple Plasma Cinema  monitors have  three looped plastic  legs: looping the cable through one of the legs will secure the monitor.
